● Selection of bearing clearance of forklift mast bearing
Forklift mast bearings are mostly radial force bearings, which generally do not require axial clearance, but radial clearance must have strict requirements. Under normal circumstances, bearings with deep groove ball structures choose "0 groups" or "3 groups" clearance, while roller bearings mostly choose "3 groups" clearance. (Reference to JB/T7360)

● Dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of forklift mast bearing
The inner ring of the forklift truck bearings shall be matched with the shaft. Tolerance and roughness are usually selected according to the requirements of PO-grade bearings. Other dimensions are determined according to actual needs. Generally, the tolerance of the outer ring's outer diameter is "0/-0.10 mm" to "0/-0.20 mm" and the tolerance of the outer ring width is ±0.20 mm to ±0.30mm. (Relerence to JB/T7360)

● Selection principles of forklift mast bearing
The selection of mast bearings shall follow the following principles:
① Determine  the bearing external dimensions according to the structural dimensions of the forklift mast;
② According to the tonnage of the forklift truck, the internal structure is selected with reference  to the rated static load of the bearing;
③ In order to make the bearing have sufficient strength, the thickness of the bearing ring must be fully considered in the design;
④ Reasonable selection of bearing material hardness and installation size.
